IV

No.4 of 4 (IV) in the artwork series ‘Peace and Love’.

This is the final artwork in my series called 'Peace and Love'. In the spirit of creating something new from something old, all the artworks in this series were painted over older paintings giving them a new meaning yet still capturing the essence of what they originally were.  

The use of love hearts, peace and other symbols have been used in several of my paintings over the years, but in this series their simplicity highlights the people we love, the moments, the memories, the stories of the lives that we create, and the places and people that we call home.
 
This is what this series of paintings is all about and what it means to me. I hope when you look at them you can feel the same sense of being that I felt creating them.
